Steps of Service
Your path to weight loss begins with a consultation with one of our health coaches. We want to learn more about you, your existing diet, what your fitness levels are, assess your current diet, and determine how much food you should be eating each day to help you meet your weight-loss goals.
DIET RECALL– Getting an idea of what your current diet is like will give us some insight into how we can help you make positive changes. We’ll also be able to educate you as to how the foods you are currently eating are impacting your body and your ability – or inability – to lose weight.
REVIEW FITNESS LEVEL AND GOALS – Ideally, you will not only be making healthy dietary changes but also lifestyle changes that incorporate fitness. Physical fitness is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle and can greatly contribute to weight loss in addition to a sound diet. Our relationship with Big Al’s Family Fitness makes your ability to begin a fitness regimen that much easier and can help you reach your goals quickly.
USE BASAL METABOLIC RATE TO CALCULATE CALORIE NEEDS – Using an equation that calculates the amount of calories your body uses we are able to determine how many calories – a form of energy – you’d need to reduce to lose weight. Using this information, we are then able to help you choose meals that meet your daily caloric needs for weight loss.
Pick Your Meals
All of Good EATS meals have a caloric value associated with them so we know how they match up to your needs. Because the idea is to reduce the amount of calories you consume each day, it is important to know how much food you should eat. Luckily for you, Good EATS has 100s of menu items that you can choose from including foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have wraps, low-carb meals, salads, entrees, pasta, pre and post-workout meals, snacks and more.
Chef Prepares Fresh Meals Daily
Your meals are made fresh for you daily by our chefs.
Knowing what to eat, when to eat, how exercise impacts weight loss and how to plan meals on the days you are not eating our prepared foods are all items that will contribute to your success. Unlike other meal plans, Good EATS provides you with a personal health coach who will help you as little or as much as you need them. Whether you need a little extra motivation, need some specific advice, or just need to chat, we are here for you!
- MEASUREMENTS – Because helping you reach your goals is a top priority, we will conduct measurements to assess how effective your diet is and to help you customize your path to success.
- COACHING CALLS – Staying on track is only hard if you don’t have a good resource to turn to. Your health coach will be available to answer any questions you have or to discuss any particulars that are related to nutrition, health and fitness.
